V.C Bird runway problem
#1
Hi

First id like to thank you for making TAPA for FSX.
I have found one issue from scenery. I don't have any mesh sceneries for Antigua installed for FSX so i think this problem is in TAPA scenery.
When i start Takeoff the photoscenery goes under the AFX file runway, is there any fix for this issue available?

Hi Toni,

That is wierd. Is there any other parts of the ground apart from the runway that you see this, such as any taxiline, borderline, stopbar, etc...?

As for the runway, apart from the centerline is any of the runway distance markings also like this? I can't really tell by the pic how far into the runway you actually are, I'm not on work PC with FSX installed to compare the locations, that's why I ask, even if it may be obvious :-)

Best Regards,

Hi Leandro

When i begin a take-off, runway gradually begins to disappear in that way.
The other end of the runway, all photoscenery runway markings are dissapeared.

This only happens in runway, other part of Airport scenery works fine.

Hi,

Contact me via e-mail tropicalsim@gmail.com or tropicalsim@terra.com.br with your serial or order number and I'll send you a replacement runway file first thing tomorrow. I believe it may be a case of further dividing the polygons into smaller sections so it "clings" to the ground on FSX' round earth. I'll do this and send you the file for testing. Also, make sure that you did not alter the FSX.cfg to remove FSX ability to render a round earth as this would cause inaccuracies with ground polygons, as there are some freeware sceneries that asks you to do this instead of developing the ground in the FSX compliant manner.

Best,

Leandro
